Michael Campbell
Michael Campbell is a Senior Business Development Manager at S&C Electric Company, bringing more than three decades of experience across the electric utility and energy management sector. Since joining S&C in 2025, he has focused on advancing grid modernization and strategic customer engagement.
Prior to S&C, Michael served as Project Engineering Manager at American Electric Power (AEP), where he led critical initiatives across multiple operating companies in Arkansas, Texas, Louisiana, and Oklahoma. His work strengthened grid reliability, established technology integration standards, and accelerated the deployment of advanced distribution technologies, including automation, voltage and VAR control, and distributed generation.
Michael’s expertise spans distribution planning, systems and substation engineering, communications, SCADA integration, and multi-state smart grid deployments. He has co-developed patented smart grid algorithms in collaboration with the U.S. Department of Energy and has supported regulatory, financial, and economic development efforts that align operational performance with long-term growth.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Arkansas and a Master of Business Administration.
